      Our old washer died on Christmas Eve so we asked Santa for a new one. It just got delivered and installed right before our dog peed all over his blanket. Threw that puppy (the blanket) into the washer and it was clean in no time!

      pedestal height is too low for any US detergent

      When LG created this pedestal they didn't take into account the height of most US detergent bottles. It's slightly shorter than the height of most bottles so you're either forced to put soap in there laying down or transferring it to another bottle before using it

      A great addition to my LG dryer. Makes it easy to empty and load as it raises the dryer to a more comfortable level. Only great disappointment is if it was just I believe an inch higher, it would hold 100 oz. detergent bottles upright rather than having to lay them down, for the cap hits the top of the pedestal not allowing the drawer to close. It holds the smaller bottles upright. Would of given it five stars under features if the bigger bottles would stay upright.

      The pedestal was exactly what I expected. My disappointment lies with the late delivery and the lack of empathy with the management. If their managers were even remotely empathetic instead of trying to justify why their warehouse cannot meet deadlines I would have understood I would have given a better rating.

      Its an expensive metal box but now my wife doesn't have to bend down to put her wet clean clothes in the dryer. I have a feeling once I open the drawer I will find all the socks I have lost from previous dryers magically appear here. I won't hold my breath.

      I purchased four of these! We have two sets of LG washers & dryers and the pedestals are great for saving my back. The height it gives my units is perfect. They are very stable and strong while the machines are running and the drawers slide easily for quick access.
