Sounds OK, but power spec is a joke

Overall this sounds OK, But the claimed power spec (360 Watts total, 80 watts per front channel and 200 in the sub) cannot possibly be true. The power consumption of the units (as listed) is 22 watts in the soundbar and 33 in the subwoofer. In reality they probably are no more than 50% efficient....

Great Sound, Inconsistent Bluetooth

I bought this in December to go with new 65" LG TV. Easy to set up, and offered great sound. After first week subwoofer kept randomly disconnecting from soundbar. Went through all factory trouble shooting, and still same problem. Was shipped to LG for warranty service this week, so fingers crossed i...

I really liked this sound bar but the bass kept cutting out every 5 minutes or so. I changed the input from optical to HDMI and the cutting out stopped. Great sound for the price.

Very happy with my SK5Y 4K TV. Great quality, great product. Also enhanced the product by adding LG soundbar for cinems quality viewing experience.

Not impressed with sound bar. The treble / base adjustment has no effect and the woofer box makes little difference to speech.

The SK5Y is a great sound bar. The quality of the sound is very good and the way that it connects to other blue tooth devices is unbelievable. It is vey simple to set up and enhances the sound beautifully and improves TV viewing greatly for a hearing impaired person.

Can't fault this at all, easy to use and set up. Easily change between functions and it will connect to Bluetooth automatically. You can tell the difference when listening to the TV sound and sound bar.

I bought the soundbar to complement my LG 55SK8500PTA TV sound experience. Very easy to install and happy with the overall sound clarity, especially when watching movies on the DTS mode - the subwoofer makes the floor rumble. I feel that at times vocals are overpowered by music, so hard to hear what is being said. Also, at times I have lost connection, so soundbar has to be reset.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
