The LG 2.1 Channel Soundbar System delivers high power and includes an external wireless subwoofer for deep bass and immersive sound. You can listen to your music a number of ways with built-in wi-fi, Chromecast, and Bluetooth streaming. Wireless Surround ready, this soundbar accepts wireless surround speakers, expanding your immersive experience. Adaptive Sound Control detects what is playing, whether it's the TV or music, and adapts the clarity of the audio so you get the highest level of cinematic experience possible.

High Resolution Audio

Digital music for audiophiles, with higher sampling rates and bit depth, both of which can contribute to more accurate, more enjoyable music listening. This certified Hi-Resolution Audio sound bar can play back lossless stereo audio at up to 24-bit/96kHz quality.

24-bit Upsampling

24-bit sound contains more data than lower-quality audio, and is the standard for high-resolution music. This feature converts lower-resolution audio to a high-resolution 24-bit format for a more premium listening experience.

Dolby Atmos®

Discover a more immersive home theatre experience in any room. Unlike traditional Dolby Atmos® sound bars, which direct overhead effects upward to be reflected off the ceiling, the SK8Y realistically virtualizes these height channels to add thrilling surround sound to select movies and TV shows.

Chromecast Compatible

Google Chromecast™ works seamlessly with popular music apps like Pandora® and Google Play™ Music, enabling wireless audio from a compatible phone or tablet, iPhone®, iPad®, Mac® or Windows® laptop or Chromebook™. Simply open a Cast-enabled app and touch the Cast button to get started.

Works with Google Assistant

You can play music, skip tracks, and adjust the volume on your Sound Bar with your voice. You just need another device with Google Assistant built-in – like the LG ThinQ® Speaker.

Wireless Surround Ready

This upgradeable sound bar has been designed to integrate with the SPK8-S optional wireless surround speakers (kit sold separately), adding the premium home theater audio of dedicated rear channels, with wireless convenience.

Adaptive Sound Control

Action movies, dramas, sports, music and even the nightly news all have different audio profiles, so don't listen to them all the same way: Adaptive Sound Control identifies what's playing and automatically adjusts the sound mode to create the ideal audio experience.

TV Remote Compatibility

Reduce remote control clutter by using the TV remote to operate the LG sound bar. Eight brands* of television remote are currently supported, enabling volume adjustment on the sound bar as easily as on the TV.
