Bought this unit and within 2 days it started to malfunction. Fan is weak, so is the remote. For the price expected more, like maybe working at all. Was told by a rep that the room has to be 65 degrees already in order for it to work correctly and not shut off because it starts overheating when you turn it on to heat. So basically I need another source of heat to make it work. It never states any of this information on the box or instructions and manual. Do not recommend!!!!

Bought this about a month ago and very happy about my purchase. We get really cold snowy winters and our central heater does not work. Since our landlord has no intention to fix the heater we went searching for a heater capable of heating larger areas. This evenly distributes heat throughout the room. Personally I find this more comfortable. With temperatures starting to reach the low forties I am able to walk around my home in a tank top and capris. We will be purchasing one more for the other side of our home for added assurance in the snow. But it is by far the best heater I have bought!

My complaint is that the remote control is very weak and half the time doesn't work. Also the heat output is not really adequate to heat a bedroom. It seems under powered. O always thought Vornado could do better!

This is my third heater, first 2 just stopped working. I was sent a replacement without any issue. except for the second time I was told the heater stopped working because it was the only heat source in my room???? apparently I need a second heater to make this heater work? was told it will just stop working again if I don't have a secondary heat source. Fan is really weak. you would get more air if you just waved your hands around in front of a heat source, does not heat the room. just helps slow the room cooling, need that second heater to get the room hot again

This amazingly uncomplicated efficient AND effective space heater is exactly what I needed to warm up our master bedroom which serves as my wife's office during the day. Excellent quality, questionable remote? I bought a number of Vornado heaters and fans over the years. They are very consistent, always hitting excellent build quality, and delivering on the promises of effective distributed heat. It's no different, as the enclosure is attractive and excellently made, and it's definitely cool to the touch. I was excited about the remote, as I use this for my garage office, so that I could turn it on through the window. The remote works… But only a range of about 2 feet. I thought this might be the battery so changed out the battery for a new one. alas, that did not help things. It's not worth returning it over, but is a shame.
