      I installed this on my closet door to add another layer of defense against my kids and any would be intruders. :) I did not have a deadbolt on that door, so I installed it myself. Was not terribly difficult....you just need to watch a youtube video on how to install one and make sure you have the right tools. After about an hour....it was installed and is working great. Would definitely buy anther if I need one.

      I've been interested in getting setup with some smart locks and previously had an opportunity to try a Wyze lock, but was curious to try this one as I've heard so many good things about the Yale brand smart locks being the best. I had a tough time with this lock. Installing it did not go easy for me. When I was testing it out, I found that the deadbolt did not extend very far into the hole in the door frame which made it felt like the lock was not very secure. Doing further research, it seems that many people have problems with having to make the hole bigger for the new deadbolt to fit in. I tried but had no luck. I think I may need to hire a professional. I think it's probably a fantastic lock once you get it installed. To contrast with my experience with the Wyze lock, that one uses the existing deadbolt and is super easy to install. It's probably not as much of a rock star lock as this one can be, but I was able to install that one my own so I had a better experience with it.

      A haven't added the Alex a feature yet , took about 30 mins to install . So great and convenient. I recommend this for all houses

      Easy to use digital security lock. I like that the design blends in perfectly with my kwik*et brand front door hardware. Simple design, with an easy to use touchscreen so you never have to worry about losing your keys. There is also the option to install the bluetooth sensor that detects when you are near the door (senses your smartphone) and automatically opens the door for you. I don't feel the need to use that part since the keyless entry using the touchscreen is simple enough.

      I have this lock and a comparable Schlage lock and this one is the superior product. I've only had it three months but so far no problems and I'd highly recommend.

      I am very happy with this lock. It is easy to install, setup and use. I had use a competitor brand before this Yale lock. I really like the features and options that this lock has. I have had to rest the lock once after a malfunction but no issues since. I don't have Alexa so I can't comment on that function. The Yale smart lock is one I would recommend with my family and friends.

      Have really enjoyed the new model Yale Z-Wave Smart Lock. We purchased the previous model a couple years prior to this model released, and still use it on a daily basis. This new model is sleeker with the touchscreen instead of standard keypad. That being said, the screen can be difficult to see during the day with the sun out. Really not a big issue. Battery life is several months depending on your daily use. Integrates to Alexa Smart Home seamlessly. Highly recommend Yale for your Smart Lock needs.

      I previously had the Yale nest lock and loved it, I decided to go with the regular Yale Assure and was highly disappointed. The key pad is a huge downgrade from the Yale Nest- frequently turns off in the middle of typing your passcode- and I purchased more than one of these and they are all the same so I know it's not a fluke.
