    Since my community is too cheap to invest in tornado sirens, I decided to purchase my own in-house warning system. The Midland NOAA receiver fills this void nicely. With the home office address here in the U.S I was hoping that the radio would be made here as well. Unfortunately, this radio is manufactured in CHINA. It would have been nice if it took and recharged lithium batteries, but it doesn't. I found the set up of the radio fairly easy after watching a You Tube video produced by an independent You Tuber. I would have preferred Midland to advertise this as a Chinese manufactured product. I would have given it four or five stars if it was American made and supported rechargeable batteries. Since this is one of the only viable NOAA radios available, I'd recommend it to anyone who needs one.

    I bought this radio, about 2 months ago and works pretty great when I recieve a Flash Flood Warning on the radio I put everything high enough so that water cannot flood. Works very great! Highly recommend it!

    This radio is great because of all of its features, like the alarm clock and obisouly the WX Radio. This is my first ever WX Radio and I look forward to buying more from Midland.

    This radio is the one and only Midland Classic. It has been active for 5 years now and has had every single alert Come in. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a simple and easy to program NOAA WX Radio.

    My last radio would keep going for 5 minutes of alarms and voices. The Midland wr120 comes on with an alarm then a voice telling you what is happening and then it stays on the screen. You don't have to get up and reset it to get peace and quite everytime it goes off.
