Really great sound when it's working

I bought this on 28/09/2020 I was initially impressed Lately however the sound bar keeps switching off by itself which is very frustrating. There doesn't seem to be a fix for this. I have tried using different HDMI cable's and different power boards also changed settings to the tv and PlayStatio...

I bought this model a few weeks ago. I haven't completely installed it to its permanent home yet, but I have tested it out. Sound quality, as always, Is perfect. Set up is extremely easy. I do enjoy that this model connects directly to your Wi-Fi, and will update on its own through the Google Home app. The one thing I noticed that I found odd, When syncing the detachable speakers, it sends out a very high frequency which is piercing. But once it's done, it sounds great.

Thanks for your feedback. We're here to help. Let us try to isolate the sound issue with your JBL BAR 9.1 True Wireless Surround. If connected via HDMI cable, consider trying an alternative cable. Also, test the soundbar's performance by connecting through Bluetooth. If the issue persists while connected through Bluetooth, perform a reset by holding the power and source buttons simultaneously for over 10 seconds. If these steps don't work, please contact our customer support for further assistance.

Very impressive Quality Soundbar 9.1. Moved into new home, wanting surround sound for TV, Movies etc. This soundbar's wireless, no wires required, gives excellent sound without having to wire in a system. Not being a millennial and a little slow on the tech side, it took me a little longer to realize I plugged the HDMI into the wrong port. ( instructions a little vague for me). Once realizing my mistake, set up was plug and play. Synced automatically, immediately with TV and remote. Awesome product!

I had planned on buying this (Bar9.1) when I installed my new Sony 77" OLED a couple of months ago but got delayed and was happy I did. I ended up buying it for half price during a sale Even at full price. I would have been happy with the purchase since it does everything as I had hoped. Of course I am using it for the home theatre aspect and that part is excellent. I don't think I'll ever set foot in a theatre again. My prior research said that it may not work great because the room has cathedral ceiling but it works fantastic. The second reason I bought it was for sending music from hard drives on my computer to my living room (which are extreme opposite ends of the house) via my home network. At this it truly exceeds my expectations as it was easy to set up and has always worked flawlessly. I can not recommend this product enough. If there is any flaw it is with the instructions rather than the product as they are very minimal.

What a terrible experience. Bought this a year and a half ago at full price. Worked great until recently. Surround speakers now cut in and out constantly rendering the whole system worthless to me. Went back and forth for weeks with JBL support only to be told I'm SOL since it was after the warranty period (though they did offer me a 30% discount on another purchase). I would recommend everyone to stay away from this expensive piece of garbage and will likely never trust another JBL product.
