Product Description

Upgrade the sound of your display's audio with the LG SP8YA 3.1.2-Channel Soundbar System. Wi-Fi, AirPlay 2, and Spotify Connect are built into the soundbar to enable voice control via your Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple Siri-enabled devices, and streaming from compatible sources and services. Bluetooth is also built into the soundbar for pairing with other Bluetooth-enabled devices, such as smartphones or tablets.

At 41.7" wide, the SP8YA is recommended for displays 49" and larger. The soundbar has optical and HDMI inputs for connecting wired audio and video sources to complement the aforementioned Bluetooth connectivity. The HDMI output supports eARC and ARC, enabling multichannel audio from your TV to play through the soundbar, providing a single-cable connection. An optical cable, soundbar wall mount bracket, and remote control are included for added convenience.

I bought this product a few months ago and I'm very please read the product performance. It has multiple options to connect with multiple devices. At the same time. You can dynamically use it by LG app. This is a good product and I will recommend to buy.

This is a good soundbar once it settles down and allows me to stay on the correct input. When first turning it on, it swaps around from input to input. This causes my tv to switch inputs to try to keep up. Both LG.

Great soundbar, some challenges with interference

Good soundbar and wireless subwoofer combination. What prevents me from giving 5 stars is the fact that after a few months of use, I started getting a lot of loud popping noise from the subwoofer on loud bass sounds. The support documentation indicates it's like wireless interference from something but nothing changed in my house. I factory reset everything and also tried another suggestion to unplug everything to let any static electricity discharge and plug it back in - that solved it for a while. Eventually, I tried several locations in my living room and finally found one that didn't have an issue. Overall, it's a great soundbar and wireless subwoofer but I wish it had better interference shielding.

Having no option to buy the rear speakers because it was discontinued and nothing else is compatible is a rip off

sounds great. very glitchy. connected to an LG OLED C1 - won't turn on automatically. Connected to Xbox Series X - Won't display 120FPS with Dolby Atmos on at 4K. Only 60FPS.

Hi there, We see that you are contacting us regarding your LG OLED C1 being glitchy while playing your Xbox. The cause of flickering on LG OLEDs using VRR and G-Sync is allegedly hardware-based. The panels on the CX, C1, and C2 have their gamma curve set for 120 Hz. When the in-game frame rate drops below that, VRR drops the TV’s native frequency to match. We'd suggest trying these steps to see if they help. Cap framerate, Adjust in-game settings to stabilize frame rate, 4K + 60 Hz, 1440p + 120 Hz, Close background apps, Cap frame rate. ~Tanisha

Horrible product quality. Once the warranty died so did the subwoofer. Cant replace it since its tied to that specific subwoofer. Stay away from LG. Their char reps dont read attachments, dont read your intial questions, and want you to repeat yourself ten times.

Where do I start, this is a must for people that are fans of soundbars. The additional rear speakers are a must to make it complete cinematic experience. It can play up to 420 watts and DTS X and Dolby Atmos.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

When it works it has a very good sound, but unfortunately mine 'clips' and keeps trying to change the sound set up, very rarely in a good way. After only 6 weeks LG refused to replace it but insisted that they would repair it. I was told that I would be contacted in 24/48 hours but never heard anything for over 2 weeks. Given that they want it for 14 days it looks as though LG will have it for longer than me...... possibly last LG product.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
