Be careful, does not fit all sink openings. I tried to install this on my brand new Blanco sink and had to take it back. The mouth opening of disposal did not match up to Blanco opening.

Our two technicians were both great, knowledgeable, very neat and extremely courteous. They completed our replacement install quickly and when completed they cleaned up after themselves. They also listened to us when we expressed concern regarding our oven/stove occasionally and repeatedly wont shut off. They stated we need a new "board". When we told them we already had the orginial board replaced once, they said this unit was a "COVID" unit and they are not that great. We asked them to order a new board and schedule a service appt to replace. We hoped they could have just done that here.

well one the installers were in and out in less then 30 Minutes.....and they left the place spotless. I am truly happy with the new garbage disposal, it grinds everything perfectly and it sounds kool, but is a little louder then my old one but works way better then the old one.

I cannot get the disposal to attach to the drain. The aluminum mount ring will not slip over the cushion mount once installed on the sink flange no matter what I do I can get the disposer to connect to the mounting ring. I cannot get the mounting ring to turn. I have tried about 10 times and and I may possibly have the wrong flange for the GFC1020N. Anyone else have this problem? Or can I get the correct sink flange?

Had this disposal for 4 years. Works very well and maintaining the product is fairly simple. After roughly 3 years of use, the vibrations loosened some of the connections causing a slow drip in the cabinet under the sink. Despite no experience with appliance repair, I was able to easily follow online tutorials to disassemble the unit, clean it (which I would highly recommend after several years of use since it was disgusting), then reassemble the appliance successfully. Drip issue was eliminated.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
