      Product Description

      The Solo Stove Yukon harnesses our patented design in an extra-large size to bring the biggest and most impressive fire to your backyard. The Yukon allows you to start a fire quickly while the double wall design creates a burst of hot air over the fire reducing the smoke without the use of batteries and fans. By design, Yukon burns wood so efficiently you’ll only be left with ultra-fine ash making clean up as simple as dumping out the spent ash. The Shelter is made from PVC-coated polyester — the same material used to make whitewater rafts. This also includes the Yukon 27" Stand. The Stand raises up your fire pit, allowing cool air to pass through its vent holes. This also allows you to burn on heat sensitive surfaces like wood decks or green grass.

      I've used our new Yukon 3 times so far and I've been really pleased with it. There truly is far less smoke than a standard fire pit, and we love having a nice fire and not feeling like we have to either shower right after or smell like it until we do. I opted for the 1.0 to save a few bucks and because I wasn't convinced that the removable ash pan was worth it, and now wish I'd gone ahead and upgraded to the 2.0. The Yukon is big and heavy enough that having to lift the whole thing and invert it to empty the ashes is inconvenient and a little messy. Probably wouldn't be an issue with the smaller sizes.

      Awesome fire pit. So much less smoke and maintains a strong fire with so much less maintenance than our last fire pit. It burns everything down to ash and as long as you are able to lift it, dumping the ash out is not a problem. I love my Yukon!

      I'll start out by saying that I do love this Yukon fire pit. It's extremely well made and high quality and it's gorgeous. It's very unique to other fire pits on the market and I love it! I'm glad I went for the Yukon size - even though it's bigger than we need, it fits better in our large patio area (a smaller size would have looked dinky). Only con is that we experienced more smoke than I expected, even though we kept the wood pile pretty small (and used the wood sold here). I still smelled like smoke afterwards, which I wasn't expecting. :( But overall, I still love it and would buy it again.

      Just got my new Yukon up and running. First impression:. WOW!!!! That's a lot of heat!!!!!! The small logs I threw in went up with minimal fuss. A few fatwood sticks, some paper, and vooom! Like other people, I'm seeing some discoloration of the rim. It's turning almost golden with the heat. But, it's beautiful in its own way.

      My wife purchased the Yukon for our Memorial Day party this year, and of course we had to test it out first. I was very happy with how easily and quickly the flame took. At first glance with the grate elevated off of the bottom it was hard to get an idea if it was going to work, having never used a Solo Stove before. But, we were rewarded with a fast and healthy flame. Further, we had to step away for fifteen minutes and came back to an almost burned out fire, low on wood, and threw two logs right on. They smoked for a short bit and then literally burst into flame. Very impressed and happy with this purchase. Wondered why this didn't come with either handles, some sort of carrying case, or some mechanism to help dump ashes and transport. I'm fairly able and was a little challenged with moving it from outside to our garage for storage. Otherwise, worth the money for sure!
