Product Description
The LinkBuds S Noise-Canceling True Wireless In-Ear Headphones from Sony provide a high-end audio experience that adapts to your lifestyle and behavior. Listen to music free of distraction with active noise cancellation, which is automatically adjusted based on where you are and what you're doing. When communicating, focused voice pickup automatically pauses playback so you can speak, and embedded AI keeps your voice clear on hands-free calls. The music you play is made to sound dynamic and detailed thanks to Hi-Res Audio Wireless and DSEE Extreme support. These features and more can be enjoyed for up to 20 hours with the included charging case.
Adaptive Sound Control
Over time, the LinkBuds S will use Adaptive Sound Control to learn your behavior and recognize locations that you frequently visit. It uses this knowledge to automatically adjust its active noise cancellation's ambient sound settings. The result is an immersive listening experience that is continuously optimized as you move through your day.
Speak-to-Chat
Easily speak to others without having to remove your earphones or tap its controls. Sony's voice pickup technology knows when you start to talk and will automatically pause the music so you can have a conversation. Once you're done talking, the LinkBuds S resumes playback.
Auto Play and Pause
This additional automatic feature can detect when you pull out one or both earphones or go on a call. Once you do, the LinkBuds S will pause playback until you put them back in or end the call.
Bespoke Playback
With a combination of Sony's Headphones Connect app, the Auto Play app, and either Spotify or Endel app, the LinkBuds S can actually match your behavior by triggering specific songs to play. Have it play something relaxing when out on a stroll, or something to get you focused when at work.
High-Quality Audio
Sony equipped the LinkBuds S with 5mm drivers that use a high-compliance diaphragm, which helps to keep the earphones small, while still providing deep, rich bass sound. When streaming music via Bluetooth, LDAC is used to achieve Hi-Res Audio Wireless quality from compatible source devices like select Android smartphones and Bluetooth transmitters. DSEE Extreme is also utilized to upscale compressed music, working to restore the high range sound typically lost during compression. In addition to these technologies, Sony's Integrated Processor V1 chip adds improved noise cancellation, enhanced sound quality, and the reduction of distortion.
Clear Calls
Built-in microphones work in conjunction with an AI-based noise reduction algorithm to isolate your voice during hands-free calls.
Long Battery Life
The LinkBuds S supplies up to 6 hours of playback on a full charge, with an additional 14 hours available in the included charging case. When using Sony's Headphones Connect App, you can be notified on your mobile device when the charging case's battery level drops below 30%.
Quick Charge
If you forgot to charge your earphones, a quick 5-minute charge will get you up and running with up to an hour of playback time.
Voice Control
Supporting both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, the LinkBuds S allows you to use your voice to operate many aspects of the headphones. Use your voice to manage music, make calls, get information, and even control various settings of the LinkBuds S.
Easy Pairing
The LinkBuds S supports both Swift Pair and Fast Pair. Swift Pair provides pop-up pairing guidance with compatible Windows 10 or 11 computers. Fast Pair is for Android-based devices, providing an easy-to-use pairing pop-up when the headphones are close to the device. Fast Pair also lets you find them if they go missing, either by sound or their last known location based on Google's Find My Device app.
Quick Access
Configure a two- or three-tap control to resume playback in either the Spotify or Endel app.
Eco-Friendly
Sony continues their work to help the environment by manufacturing the LinkBuds S earphones from recycled plastic from automobile parts, and using packaging that is free of plastic.
