Not happy with this at all. Keeps randomly shutting off. After it shuts off, cannot turn back on for over 2 hours. Will sometimes randomly turn back on. No power, buttons dont work, just completely black screen. Tried swapping power cords, display cords, everything. Worried one of these times it will just break for good. Might have to RMA.

Bought this back in 2021 and the monitor was a big upgrade for me then. Now in Jan 2025, a single discolored blue/red vertical line appeared on my monitor. I troubleshooted the wires and my graphics card, but it is still visible without anything plugged in. When looking for an answer, I stumbled upon all the poor reviews here that shows many people having the same issue years later. What a disappointment! I was looking to buy another LG monitor but after these common horrible issues that happens years later, I will opt out of LG.

Had the monitor for 4 years. Worked great, Then developed a vertical line on the screen. After reading the reviews here all this time later it sounds like there are a ton of people with the same issue. It's a defective product. DO NOT BUY. By the way, LG provides NO customer service for this obvious manufacture flaw. Best they will do is offer you 15% off a new product. Unfortunate.

Vertical lines developed on monitor after a few years

To start troubleshooting, we recommend checking the monitor's signal cable to ensure it’s securely connected and free from any damage. Sometimes, issues can arise if the pins are damaged or if there are foreign objects in the cable. If necessary, replace the cable with an authentic one to ensure optimal performance. Additionally, if you notice the vertical line still appears after reconnecting the cable, try removing the cable and reconnecting it to see if that resolves the issue. Display port causes screen flicker

Black Screen flicker fix requires HDMI 2.1 use. Screen would flicker or go black for a few seconds at a time while gaming with display port cable. I refurbished the monitor and the issue persisted. The fix was to switch to HDMI 2.1. Since i game in 4k that meant going from 144hz to 120hz for me but it fixed my issues. Its a great monitor and I would've given it 5 stars if it didn't have this issue.

Build quality is average. The bottom bezel is not uniform across the width of the monitor. Picture quality is good. On bright pages I do notice slight flickering. With the cost of the monitor this should not be happening. Why is the power cable so short?!?!? It is only 3 feet long. That is just ridiculous! It should be at least 6 feet long or more. I wish I could get a replacement power cable that was longer.

Horrible fan noise!

I bought two of these monitors less than 2 years ago, and one has started making a horrible noise when the fan is on, which is most of the time the monitor is on. I've tried blowing out the vents, but there isn't much access, and the back does not seem to be removeable in any way for better access. Dissapoiting for such expensive monitors!
