      I bought this washer (as a set with dryer) a little more than 18 months ago. In terms of cleaning clothes, it works fine and uses minimal water. However, it doesn't drain very well, even after spinning at the end of a wash cycle, and as a result there is a puddle left in the door gasket after every cycle, contributing to mold build-up. This has created a number of hassles with the machine and has damaged clothing. Overall, I would look at different models or another brand if I had to make this purchase again.

      We bought this washer a month ago and we are very pleased with it. I was surprised how easy it was to add a washing cycle to the main cycle menu. The large capacity is great for a king size quilted bedspread.

      Unfortunately my machine arrived damaged. A technician came out and thought it was cosmetic so he ordered a part. Today I tried the machine for the first time and it bounced and walked all over my freshly painted laundry room. It damaged the walls and door before I could shut it off. I am afraid of the machine. I hope LG will replace the machine, not just parts. I just purchased all LG appliances for my kitchen and laundry room l.

      Purchased the washer and dryer set with extended warranty on Feb 2024. After 3 months control board needed replaced and now on Dec 20, 2024 I am getting vibration sensor not working error. Called LG support but had to schedule service, but service request is still pending someone has to call me back to schedule time to come out to fix this, no urgency there either. This will be my last LG set.

      Water hammering issue

      The washing machine has been a problem since day one. When water goes in and out of the washing machine, you get a water hammering noise that shakes the hose and the pipes so loudly, I can hear it 2 floors up. LG says it is not their responsibility and I should buy a water hammering arrestor. I paid for these as well as for a plumber and it did not help at all. The Switch on the LG washing machine is obviously defective as it creates too much pressure as it opens and shuts. It's very unfortunate that LG will do nothing about this and now I fear my pipes are going to be damaged and eventually burst.

      Just bought two weeks ago after reading many reviews, and am excited to say that one can't go with this LG washing machine, having many features and options. Turbo function has saved me a lot of time (and money, of course). This machine is practically silent as compared to my older washer and cleans cloths exceptionally well. Not checked the steam and wifi function so far and will update my review later.
