      A power surge disabled my current 11 year old refrigerator. After a couple of weeks dealing with repair attempts and the insurance company we made the new purchase. The fridge was making ice in less than 2 hours. Even though the new unit is 1 cu ft smaller than the old one the design provides more usable space. Very happy!

      The refrigerator is fine and I'm sure it's a wonderful product. I have downsized from a four-door refrigerator and it is hard to get used to this three door. The only reason I give it a four star rating instead of a five star is it is supposed to be Fingerprint resistant, and that may be true, but the handles are not; the most touched part of the refrigerator.

      Keeps foods cold and frozen. Door center seal works well but is noisy, almost too low barely contacting the control block at top. Like the bottom freezer, second level drawer is somewhat helpful but limits tall items. Protection plastic cover in manufacturing doesn't remove cleanly, leaving a fringe in many places.

      I wasn't excited about buying this refrigerator but I've grown to really like it. It didn't have all the bells and whistles that I'd become accustomed to and the freezer section appeared cheap but the fact I gained refrigerator space made up for it. I've got a lot more refrigerator space than I had before and as long as it works and doesn't quit on me at a young age I'd definitely buy again.
