      Best Icemaker Ever Used

      We were fortunate to use this while staying at a Residence Inn for a few weeks. As heavy ice water drinkers this was able to keep up with our consumption with no problem. Our personal door ice maker struggled and often failed. This is a work horse!! Eleven stars ⭐️

      Freezes solid

      The ice maker freezes solid and does not let frozen cubes rotate out into the bin. I have removed it several times to let it thaw. It will work a couple days and then freeze up again. I have never had this much trouble with an ice maker.

      Only makes 7 cubes per cycle. Ice cubes are too small. Very disappointed in this product.

      The back of the fridge says to get an IM4D ice maker. And while the plug does indeed connect, the screw holes do not line up and there's no way to attach the ice maker. Then I read in the owners manual "does not work with S/S models". Does that mean side by side? If it does, why would you have the connectors and water line and brackets but yet no ability to connect anything to them?

      Initially this ice maker worked great. But after about 6 months, it quit filling with water and then when it did, filled with water, wouldn't dump, and then refilled with water. I am left with frozen water in the bucket and frozen ice cubes that won't dump. This product was installed by the deliverer.

      Refrigerator was delivered last Wednesday and ice maker was installed. Off to a slow start in terms of making ice. And I keep dumping it wondering when the bad taste of the ice will go away!

      4 days, only1/2 bucket of ice

      Love GE refrigerator, but this IM4D ice maker has only made 1/2 bucket of ice in 4 days. Set temp gauge on 4+, still not filling up. 5 is highest temp, and not energy efficient at that high. i did all the items on video, still not working. Green light didn't come on at all, like video indicated. Using cube trays, wish I had not bought ice maker now.

      Feeler Arm Freezes in OFF position

      Ice builds up on the feeler arm and causes it to stay in the off position. Every day I have to take a little fork and remove the ice buildup. That is soooo not acceptable. This product should be recalled to replace the feeler arm with another design.
