This product is well worth the investment

I have 2 of the Amish mantle heaters. They are big, expensive and hard to move around. They heat OK but they are so bulky. We recently bought a Vornado VH2. We have the vaulted ceilings in our home and also have passive solar. When the sun is out during the winter the home is toasty until about 8PM....

I bought three VH-2 heaters for my employees and later two more. The heaters get extensive use during upstate NY winters. After two years we returned two of the heaters for repairs (under warranty). Another was out of warranty, and we judged it not worth the cost to send it back for factory repair. ...

It's small, so tucks behind the towel rack stand when not in use, it's quiet even at full operation, it's light and has a truly useful grab handle. It heats up our large bathroom faster and more quietly than a huge, heavy, unwieldy radiant heater. Easy controls. It's a winner.

This is my second VH2 Whole Room heater. Being so pleased with my first purchase, I bought a second one for a lower floor room that often had uneven heating. So far so good. Waiting for colder weather to test its capability. Very light for easy movement. Also, very quiet. The heater's appearance and ease of use is excellent. The only negative would be it doesn't have an intake air filter.

At high setting, the dual wattage on this heater allows me to take the chill out of the garage where the weight room is located. The low setting is perfect for heating our small 13ft vintage travel trailer. Never gets too hot and quiet enough to sleep all night. Do not go for the cheap imported heaters…Vornado is worth every penny!
