The WiFi is really a great feature. Connected to my phones hot spot and within minutes the database and firmware was updated. In just one week, I have gained a lot of confidence in this unit. This is a great looking design and lighter than the previous MAX 360. The new mag mount is really convenient - easy to engage and disengage, but very secure. The voice volume is a little low on this unit, but the jury is still out as I play with the settings (may turn it off as I prefer to be notified, then go silent). The new lower mute function is really nice - Automatically mutes to an extremely low volume after notification so you and your passengers don't go crazy. This unit is pricey, but I have not regretted the expense. Very happy with this purchase. I am now considering the laser shifters.

Very nice unit. For someone looking for a nice plug and play unit this is a great option for you. Feature packed and a well rounded product with many things to offer. Below are 10 Facts I shared on the Escort Forum I have Found about this unit. 1. Connects to wifi, either in your car , hotspot, or router. 2. Firmware Updates happen through your wifi source and are pushed to your detector automatically. 3. Once you connect via Escort Live App on your phone to your wifi source like a mobile hotspot or your car's wifi you no longer need to run the app on your phone at all to receive Live Alerts and connect to Escort Live , the detector will do that for you as long as it is picking up your wifi source, and it does this very well my connecting automatically without you needing to do anything once it is initially set up. You will need to make sure that the source of wifi signal is "discover-able" so that the 360c can see it. 4. Performance Range is on par with the Old 360. The new one has the M6 as well. The serial number has M6c on it I think. Plus Escort already told us it's same horn, etc. 5. The Screen is brighter than the Old 360 and easier to see for me. 6. The unit is smaller than the old 360, the Arrows are bigger and spread out on the front face of the unit. 7. The unit is price 50 dollars more than the older unit was at 699.99, and the old unit was 649.99. 8. This detector has Band segmentation for both KA and K Band. This was designed for international users and they don't recommend that people in the US use them. 9. The IVT filter works VERY well filtering out cars! Best I've seen. 10. The mount is the new Mag Mount they have like with the EX I purchased as well. Price is higher than any other WS detector sold by ER, but for 50 more dollars if you want a new refreshed design and added wifi capability it is well worth it over the original Max360 in my opinion.

The Max 360 goes off (K Band) with about every 5th vehicle that goes by. It's bad enough it constantly gets false alarms from all sides (due to all the new car's side/front/rear radar controls but it announces it "K Band" constantly as well. My family just laughs at it or tells me to turn it off. As a professional driver and a 15+ year Escort fan and user in multiple cars I was extremely disappointed when I called Escort multiple times for a fix or replacement. Their answer was "We're sorry. That's the way it is". If anyone wants one cheap let me know. I'm going to a Valentine Radar Detector with false signal filter. Very disappointed in the product and company.

Used unit for nearly 2 days and then I removed the useless Max 360c radar detector returned back to its case. I changed out the windshield part and replaced detector with my old Max 360. I called Escort CSR all he said its a new radar detector product use my smartphone to change any of setting thank you and good by. If CSR cannot provide me with answers to my questions and his final statement Escort did not give staff any training or troubleshooting guides for the new radar detector that somebody added little c to name. Thank you, Escort for not allowing me trade in my Max 360. Yes, I drive 2017 80K sports car and live in the state that second in the nation for speeding tickets issued.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

I thought the 360c was "undetectable". Never had that happen with my Escort IX! So much for being excited about an upgrade, especially if they can "see" you coming. Disappointed!!! On the flip side it is a nice unit with new features. But definitely has a serious flaw!

The Max 360C is not undetectable and is not marketed as such, The Redline EX is undetectable so would be a better choice if used in VA.

One day of use and speed trap warning lock and stays on screen until the detector is unplugged. Start it up again and all is good until I encounter another speed trap and the process starts all over again.

what i love about max360c is that it automatically connect your car wifi or your phone hotspot automatically. NO actions needed on users part, NO need to launch Escort Live on phone. Max360c automatically connects to your car/phone hotspot for Escort Live. if you on samsung phone or android phone, if your phone hotspot happens to be off, all you need to do is double tap anywhere on the screen to turn on hotspot ! (1. install wifi hotspot widget. 2. install Nova Launcher and created a double tap shortcut to launch hotspot). to report police, just hold the mute button.
