Manufactured 05/2021 and installed 07/2021. It has been cold and quiet for the fridge and freezer. Water and ice maker/dispenser has had no issues. Now 12/2024 and got error code CH E on Christmas Day. I was originally told the code is a refrigerant leak. All the food in fridge was warm and freezer stuff essentially defrosted within a few hours of getting the code. Tried resetting the fridge it as instructed on LG site. It never worked and now the digital part does not display or work. Even the water dispenser stopped working. Both the fridge and freezer inside area got really warm and there was no sound of it running so I unplugged it because of the heat that could be felt when you opened the doors. I live chatted LG the morning of 12/26 and found out that its under a 5 year warranty. They were helpful when I contacted them originally telling me what I needed to do. I was told that someone would contact me soon. I called and spoke to someone today 12/27 and they told me that I need to wait 3-5 days to be contacted by a service technician in my area; however, their computer is showing that there are no LG service technicians within 100 miles of my address. They did say that if they cannot find someone who can come to my area, they might end up giving me a refund so I can purchase another one. So I guess I have no choice but to wait a couple of more days to see the verdict. I did call around myself and spoke to 8 different appliance places. Only one of the 8 places said that they service LG refrigerators. Hmmmm that says alot to me.....

I purchased this fridge in 2022, since then I've had service on it 5 times. This is the worst fridge I've ever had. It wakes me up at night it's so loud. Whenever I call LG, it's the same customer service over and over again. It's have tried this. Have you tried that have you leveled it have you done this? Have you done that and it's the same outcome they will send someone out in that person will do exactly the same thing as they did before out of the five people that came three of them left, shaking their hands in the air having no idea what's going on and why it's making so many loud noises. One guy came and replaced the whole panel in the back of the freezer and it did absolutely nothing. One guy came and leveled it and it didn't make noise for two months and then it started making noise again. It's funny how they say to level it but I've used four different levels and they all say that the refrigerator is completely level. This refrigerator is just a piece of junk and there is no way they'll give you a refund and there is no way that they'll fix this

We bought this 33" wide french door refigerator with ice & water on the door back in July 2024. The refrigerator was delivered damaged, I tried reaching out to L.G. they Never resolved the damaged refigerator. Very poor customer support

I would like to say it was great but we think it was grating. The noise level was irritating when it was running which seemed to be more than it was idle. It was nice looking while it lasted, which was"t very long. The compressor failed just after 4 year service warranty expired . The compressor was covered the service was not. It took 9 days from failed to finish. Now, 4 months later Deja vu, no ice and Hagen Das is now Mr. Softee. LG stove and dishwasher are fine but in refrigerator LG means "Let's Get something else."

Had to give it a one star because I never received it! I have been trying to connect with someone at customer service and no one can help. The delivery driver had the wrong product on their truck and now LG is making me wait until they receive the wrong product back before refunding me my money. Now I have no refrigerator and no money to purchase another one. Still waiting on someone to call me back - all they have done to attempt to locate it is 'sending an email to the delivery company'.

I am extremely upset with this refrigerator. I have had it for only 2 years. When I came home from work yesterday I noticed a code CH E. I researched the code which says a high side refrigerent leak. I then noticed everything in my freezer was completely thawed and my items in my refrigerator are all very warm. So I have now lost all of my food as they are not safe to eat. This is a huge financial burden and I have 2 young kids. I called and they told me the compressor will need to be replaced. They can not get out until tomorrow afternoon. Upon additional research it seems this is an issue across many LG refrigerators. Its very disappointing as I have most all LG products, TVs, dishwasher, oven, microwave.

Good until compressor issues

Manufactured 05/2021 and installed 09/2021. It has been cold and quiet for the fridge and freezer. Water supply line had some weird issues with the receiving end on the fridge but we filed down the copper tube and got it to fit. Water and ice maker/dispenser has had no issues. Now 08/2024 and got error code within the past 24 hours CH E which is refrigerant leak. All the food in fridge is warm and freezer stuff essentially defrosted. Tried resetting the fridge it as instructed on LG site 3 times which helps for an hour or two til code reads again. I don't seem to hear anything running though and the food remains barely cold in fridge and meats thawed in freezer and ice creams melted. Called LG and confirmed still under warranty but no immediate service techs availability for atleast 5 days (no weekends). So my food will all go bad and I won't have a working fridge but atleast eventually maybe one day a LG tech will come and confirm I have an issue.

Does not hold up. Finding cracks all over. First one was within year but they sent me the wrong part. Now the baskets are breaking on the side which means a lot less storage. Two stars for being smudge resistant and giving ice as I didn't have that beforehand:

Not even 2 years old the freezer and ice maker stopped working. Very disappointed!!! We called to get it repaired. The operator is telling us to troubleshoot. Ugh!!! 2 days later the issue got worse. Water leaking from the ice maker.
