I was waiting for these for a very long time and I bought them as soon as they were available in Canada despite all of the connectivity issues and not so impressive audio quality reviews I'd read a lot about.To be short and concise, the buds are good and work fine for the most part but they perform very poorly from a room away regardless of the wall type and disconnect very frequently when sharing it with a friend. I own a pixel 4XL and many google products and I have to say... Only buy this if you have a pixel, otherwise buy it when it's on sale. For other android users just pick up a cheaper pair or similar priced pair from another company. The extra features/options you get with a pixel make it maybe just barely worth full price.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

I love the Google products, however, these dissapoint me compared to all the other products within the suite. Two things are frustrating: the in ear fit. I find it a bit tricky in terms of a snug and secure fit. They tend to loosen and fall out. Often it takes me a few tries before finding a snug fit. I.e., they're not a natural fit as with wired in ear headphones. Perhaps, I'll get better at fitting then the more I use them. Watch this space. The second is how often the bluetooth connectivity drops when listening to music/radio/podcasts. Very frustrating and intrusive on the experience. Hopefully this can be addressed with update/patches. The good bits, the controls are great. Easy to use. Love the Google assistant and works seamlessly with most devices. Notification panel is easy to use. Find my headphones is useful. Although a louder ring tone would be useful. In general they're nice headphones. Would I recommend them. I'd have to say I don't know!!!

Pixel Buds are extremely quick and easy to setup with a Pixel phone. The sound quality is excellent, with Google Assistant always available. They fit securely and are easy to adjust, and the swipe/tap gestures are very useful. The range is also great. I can listen to my music even when my phone is on the other side of the house.I'm very pleased with them and would highly recommend them.They are in my ears about 75% of the time now, purely because there's no messing about with wires when putting my mask on/taking it off, and much more convenient than having to plug/unplug them from my phone. It also means I can now charge my phone and listen to music.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

The sound quality and features are fantastic the only problem I'm having is the displayed 5 hour battery life but mine seem only to last an hour and a half at most

Sound is amazing especially with the new update adding bass boost, wasn't expecting sound like this from ear BUDS cause I always had wired. Loving the small soft felt case. As for the ear tips the small ones are the only ones that can fit in my ear and even then they still tend to fall out sometimes needing re-adjusting every now and then. Other then that I found them worth it, amazing sound, amazing bass nothing crazy like wearing over ear but jus enough..

The left earbud will not be recognized by my phone or pixel bud case. Despite restarting phone and going through the Google troubleshooting. The right ear bud connects and sounds well.

I had these for 2 weeks and in that time I had such poor connection issues with these. The sound was great as were the features that they had right out of the box. However, I should have to change the angle of my head to get the bud to reconnect. I returned them and purchased the A-series instead since I heard those were much better. Almost perfect, but I'm not settling for this price point.

I love how these fit. They actually stay in my ears without falling out. Voice calls are crystal clear. Sound is excellent. Connects instantly with my pixel when I take them out. My only big complaint is I originally bought these for the live translation feature and it doesn't pick up on conversations and the translations were not accurate.
