We have this for about a month and so far the only compliant I have is there is no "lunch meat" drawer. We did not notice that at the time of purchase but boy did we notice it afterwards. We bought an after market add on which is working ok. After we installed the fridge in its new home, we reali...zed the doors needed to be swapped. This was not an easy job and took us about 4 hours to complete. Not a fun day to day the say the least.

Don't buy this!
Avoid buying this! Absolutely horrible!
Not even 1 year - Fan motor went out.
It comes with icemaker and water dispenser features but you have the choice of only using one.
We had several technicians try to figure out adapter installations so we are able to use both - no resolve.
This is a cheap... low blow to customers and quick cash grab for LG. Seriously dudes, how did this pass inspection?

I have this refrigerator and it is terrible. Don't waste your money. I have had nothing but problems from the time it was installed. It has really bad ice build up & will work and now the bottom doesn't get cold. No insurance.

frost buildup in freezer. Manufactured October 2024. Purchased end November 2024. LG wants to "repair" what is really a new product. Repair person said .."well, you know, like, when you cook and the stove is on and you open the refrigerator or freezer, the heat may cause the frost'> Customer Service rep. told me to unplug the refrigerator for 8 hours. I asked what about my spoiled food. The reply .. put in a food loss claim. Unable to attach pictures of freezer and frost inside.

I bought the refrigerator at a big box store, which did not have a unit immediately available with an ice maker. They promised to send an ice maker separately, which they did and which I installed. Everything was fine for the first 18 months, but then the ice maker quit making ice and the repairman couldn't figure out why. Probably independently, the compressor failed at the same time, along with the main circuit board. The compressor and board are being done under warranty, which has been very difficult to schedule - if the promised repairs take place this Friday, it will be 3-4 weeks without a functioning refrigerator.

We bought this refrigerator a month ago and regret the choice. We chose a top freezer because we had read that this was the most efficient. Maybe, but it is most inconvenient. It also runs much too cold. The factory settings caused ice cream to be indestructible. Adjusting down....still too hard. Final adjustment....mush. Having the fridge on the bottom requires bending over to reach anything (most items) positioned below the waist. The loss of shelf storage with a single door we find severe compared to the amount of space we had with our French door model. The water inside requires the fridge door to be opened repeatedly. It should only be positioned for use outside the box. We would gladly trade up to a French door bottom freezer if provided the opportunity.

I purchased this fridge and have struggled with LG customer service to get a resolution to my issue. The fridge itself works correctly, however, when I purchased it, one of the major draws was the ability to have an ice maker, which we have never owned before. I bought the associated ice maker kit which was expensive, only to find that the hole in the back of the fridge for the ice maker to be installed did not line up properly, meaning that I was not going to get an ice maker after all(at least not without modifying the fridge and voiding the warranty). Because of this, I called LG customer support on several occassions, speaking with many individuals for many hours cumulatively, only to get answers that pointed the finger at the store the product was sold at, effectively saying "Sorry, there is nothing we can do". Not only this, I was told that for any warranty work I would have to pay for a service tech to come verify the issue. The issue being, after having LG give me names of technicians, I called each only to find out that none of them work on LG or are within 2 hours of my residence. If I would have known this level of customer service to be the case before purchasing, I would have not only avoided purchasing this product in particular, but avoided LG products in general. I do not intend at this time to purchase any LG products moving forward, not only for the lack of accountability shown by thier service staff, but the lack of quality that I have seen within the product's manufacturing.

The size square footage size is misleading. I didn't think about the placement of the water dispenser on the inside and how easy it would be to tap and make a mess all over everything in the refrigerator. Also only having two door shelves because of the two large drawers at the bottom of the refrigerator takes up a lot of unused area. Also can't put my magnets on the outside of the refrigerator I guess it's aluminum or something with plastic over it because it's not magnetic at all
