      I'm not sure if I just didn't know what I was doing, but the game of Battleship seems a little hard to follow the rules. I played with my younger son, who never had before. We had fun picking coordinates and waiting to see if we chose the right one. The sound effects were pretty cool and made it more fun.

      My 7 year and 3 year old loved this game and had such fun playing with the battle ship. Very competitive, entertaining, and it's definitely a family favorite.

As a mom who likes to keep things organized, I really appreciate that we are able to fit all the pieces back in the game compartments when packing it up to store it after playing a game. My son and I definitely recommend this to others. If you like the original Battleship game, you will love this electronic version!

      I received this product for free to try. This board is easy to setup and take back apart for storage. It reminds me of the electronic version that I had growing up but love the added special attack options.

      I had my two youngest kids, ages 8 and 10, try to set up and play the game. On initial setup, I had to help put together and explain how to play. You can do a custom layout or one of the standard options on the cards they give you. For younger kids, the card layouts are easier because for the custom layout you need to input the first and last coordinate of each ship. Overall my kids enjoy the game, and after the initial setup and instruction, they can play on their own without assistance. It takes more time overall then the original battleship game, but my kids like the additional sound effects.

      My son is six and could play it over and over! The more advanced, electronic modes are exciting but this can also be played like classic battleship - definitely fun!
