I have had trouble with this from the beginning sent it in had it repaired 3 months later back to doing what I sent it to have repair wouldn't update now it will not go past the startup screen it's junk will not be buying Samsung again

I love my new Tab A. I know they are coming out with their new flagship versions soon what with "Samsung Unpacked" TODAY! I got my Tab A lat 2016 and have been trying to write a review and the website glitched and so I'm trying again, but that's not relevant. So what's not to love about he new Tab A? I do love everything about it. I would only want to make one improvement. It does take a long time to charge, so I think in the next generation it should be able to be double charged with 2 wires or perhaps wireless with a charging wireless mat option. It really is no big deal to let it charge while I sleep or while I'm at my desk and I can let it charge. Chargers are getting small so even a wireless portable charger that is thin enough to fit in a case or something... who knows. I love the computing power of this Tab A. I feel one can never have a fast enough processor or enough RAM. Seriously, I probably would only feel satisfied if some how quantum processors became available to the public. I stretch my Tab A to its limits!. I am running several applications and have tabs open in chrome and stream music and really ask as much from the Tab A as a performance test from CNET. I approve! It is slightly smaller (duh) than my husband's original Tab S student edition. It's smaller because technology is better. My Tab A is also light, the battery does last a long time, it keeps up with my demands. I really can't find anything wrong with this tablet. Even the apps developed for the Tablet are great. Sometimes with tablets, apps from the Play Store can be "wonky." They may not work right or their spacing would be off etcetera. All but one of the apps (the kohl's app) are developed properly for the Tab A. I got both my mom and my husband Samsung Tablets before I got one for myself. I wish I'd had one sooner. I am writing a book and this tab can do everything I need to help me muti-task while writing. If you want a tablet, just go with Samsung. I do kind of wish I had a 4g Galaxy Tab S2, or the S3 is coming out, but I can just use my phone as a hot spot for data and I live in an urban area so Wifi is almost every where. The idea of "S Pen" intrigues me and I can't wait to see how Samsung will make their technology experience even more connected. The tab and Samsung phones have a smart view or side screen view and they can seamlessly switch functions between devices. Like I can just tap (or hold it close) my google docs paper that I'm working on with my phone against the tab and it jumps to the tab screen and I can keep working on it. The screen looks great. The tab works great. I seriously don't know how Samsung consistently manages to deliver the best performing and sensible technology at fair prices. Other companies will roll back power from other places, like less RAM on a strong processor, but Samsung just has this knack for finding balance of processor vs technology.

It's fast and sleek and the size is perfect. I used to have to 10.1 but because of horrible carpal tunnel during my pregnancy I couldn't hold it up so I gave it to my husband. I switched to a different brand of tablet and was instantly dissatisfied. I found this one and fell in love. I won't ever go back. The price was nice and I love all the new features and the Samsung apps!

I got this samsung galaxy tab a 9.7 not too long ago and I LOVE IT. The only issue I have is the camera, but it's really portable and easy to hold.
