      This is my first LG product. I was impressed with how sleek the size of the TV is. I like the size and how thin it is which makes the TV look modern in the living area. I love the remote and that there is a mouse feature. It makes it much easier to browse my favorite apps. Some of the more popular apps were pre-installed and that made using the Tv so much easier. The picture quality is amazing, I feel like I am in a movie theatre with the quality. The picture quality does not look distorted and the lighting is just right. I got this TV because I enjoy watching movies and streaming and felt it was the right size to get the job done. Review submitted as part of a program that provides a purchase discount.

      Impossible to get diagram of back of TV

      I need a picture or diagram of the back of the 83" G4 so I can prepare the wall for the mount AND install a wall box that must be directly behind the cable channels in the back of the TV. See attached LG diagram LG posted for the G3. I need the same for the G4. I suspect they may be the same but LG support could not confirm that or locate a diagram or even a picture of the back of an 83" G4. VERY frustrating because now I will not be able to mount the TV for at least a week after it arrives.

      WARNING - Do NOT buy - The included wall mount can easily fail and the TV could fall off of the wall and is a danger hazard. If you install the mount per the LG instructions, the mount can FAIL. LG cheaped out and did not include washers that could have mitigated this. The material the mount is made from is too weak/thin to support the weight of the 83in TV.

      OLED77G4WUA About to try it out. Customer service makes me want to return it. I was told that they would add the FREE STG4WR8377 stand because it was left off of my original order. When I called back to inform them that I never received the stand even though the TV has been received they said something totally different than what was discussed in my original conversation. Then the agent became rude and refused to allow me to speak with anyone else.

      Overall, the G4 has an excellent picture and its picture highlights and colors can get very bright, depending on content. It's a noticeable upgrade from my 2000 C model. Skin tones are excellent in most scenes, too. I especially appreciate the short cuts where the numbers on the remote can be programmed to activate specific apps, such as Paramount, etc. My only complaint at this point is the Web OS updates which are occurring on a daily basis, resulting in a significant delay when first turning on the TV. I'm on the verge of turning off automatic updates because this issue is really annoying. Otherwise, I would give this product 5 stars.

      We bought this to replace our older LG TV, which is now working fine in another room. We wanted a larger screen for our aging eyes, and can now read the text messages in movies, and CC, but the image is so much crisper, the light brighter, and the colors more vivid. Scenes in movies that used to look to dark and now more clearly visible. We love it!

      I'm really disappointed in LG. This TV worked fine for a month then power on issues. They replaced the panel with some very scratched screen was obviously not new. So now they are going to exchange it with a new tv. Only after having to prove over and over again it was very scratched. So not happy at all with LG. I had a LG 43 in tv for 17!years never had one issue and this is why I decided to buy another LG. Obviously quality has changed dramatically the tv I bought was crap. I'll never buy another LG after this one I just hope the replacement tv will last.

      Bought this TV Black Friday. Took delivery 10 days later. Wall mounted the weekend before New Years. This TV is replacing an aging Panasonic TC-P42S2 plasma, which still has a very nice picture 12+ years later. I find it to have a beautiful picture, probably the best I will ever own. However there are some issues, which some may consider minor, which have significant impact on my scoring at 4 out of 5 stars. First, is the "Magic Remote", what an incredibly awful user interface. I HATE that I'm unable to turn the pointer OFF. I hate I'm not able to remove ANY app that LG thinks is proprietary. I'm also very dissapointed the "Magic Remote" isn't so 'magical' being that it's not lighted. Second, is the lack of configuration available for SimpLink CEC. It's either on or off. I really would like to be able to turn off the OFF power signal. I could configure this in my ancient Panny, but not the "modern" LG. Hey LG, you can do better.
