Very easy installation and really like the brightly lit interior, and the storage! It's very efficient as I'm used to my old freezer running 24/7.

Earlier this month the freezer was working. It was defrosting. My wife panicked, started moving to other refrigerators with frozen. The alarm was blinking. Because I had working in garage electrical, use assumed I was at fault. I read the manual to trouble shoot. I pressed the alarm button and it reset. All is good, she still believes I did something. We have been married 53 years, most of them happily

After reviewing the various upright freezer models. My wife and I choose the GE 14 cubic ft glass shelve model FUF14DLRWEWW to replace our 20 year old Kenmore unit. For the 2 us the capacity meets our needs. The unit is in our garage and fits in nicely and is Quite. We like the arrangement of the shelving, door handle for easy opening and the control panel visible on the front door. So far so good with the purchase of the GE upright freezer.
