I bought this fridge barely 3 years ago & all the drawers sliding tabs have cracked then the door hinges broke so that we had to lift it a bit to close it. Of course this means it doesn't seal nor does the freezer door seal. Now before I could figure out what to replace the door has fallen off completely. No wonder they're not making this model anymore. A brand new fridge should last more than 3 years. I'm so disappointed.

This refrigerator is AWFUL!! The drainage hole in the freezer freezes up every few weeks and according to GE's support you have to get a screw driver and remove the back panel in the freezer. This is, of course, after you remove everything from the freezer. You have to then pour hot water in to defrost the blockage and then use a blow dryer to dry it. If you don't do this tedious process and unblock the drainage hole, the water flows down into the refrigerator. Until we buy a new - not GE! - refrigerator we now stack towels on the shelf in the refrigerator to absorb the draining water as we are weary of going through the ridiculous process of thawing the drainage hole. It is hard to comprehend how an established company like GE sells such a piece of junk. In addition, it is extremely noisy and has a high pitched sound that drives us crazy. This refrigerator is not even 2 1/2 years old. Our previous refrigerator lasted 25 years!

I love my new fridge! The freezer has enough room for everything I need to be kept frozen. The movers I used destroyed my fridge & chest freezer but with this unit I don't need a separate freezer.

The freezer shelf keeps falling out of the holes. Only use if you want to catch stuff falling out when you open the door. The wheels for moving it are pathetic. It is tearing up my flooring. Worst refrigerator I have ever owned.

I purchased a new GE refrigerator and had it installed 8/02/2022 and within a week it stopped working. I had long ice cycles hanging in the freezer where it would stop running, the ice would melt, then it would kick on for a little while refreezing the dripping ice. I had to wait over 2 weeks for a GE Tech to come out for 10 mins, telling me nothing was wrong. I had 2 more service calls with the same GE Tech and never fixed the problem. Now my refrigerator does not work at all. It was purchased new 4..5 months ago. GE product is junk and service repairs are worse.

Pretty bare bones fridge. No freezer light or temp control. The fridge light is pretty dim. Im assuming the control in the fridge regulate both. It does haave a nice sice frezzer. Not much in the way of changing door shelves, but the are wide.
