This is by far the best space heater I've owned when it comes to consistently heating a closed room. While it doesn't put out extremely hot air it successfully distributes it through the whole room and actually keeps the room at the set temperature. I own two of these and have had the first one for over 5 years with minimal issues. The only downside is the LED display for temperature can be very bright in a dark room. 10 out of 10 space heater

I have to admit that the first two Vornado heater units I purchased were not very good. This unit, though, is VERY GOOD. I love the quality, all-metal build. It's also very quiet on the low heat settings, and sounds soft and pleasant on the high heat option. Yes, the remote could be of higher quality, and can be a bit fickle in terms of function, but it works well enough. I hope this baby lasts a long time, because it's a great addition to my office. I'm a big fan of high quality items, and will typically pay more for something that is well built and will last. I hope this unit doesn't disappoint. So far so good!

This thing heats up inside with a feckless fan that doesn't drive the air out. The temperature gets to whatever you set it and then it turns the heat off. Solution... put a fan behind it to drive the room's cold air into it and keep the thermostat from registering the bogus stuff.

On really cold nights my wife is always cold in our bedroom because it is the furthest point from the heater and along a north wall. I have owned a basic fan from Vornado for years, it is small, but mighty. Perfect floor workout room fan. Went to thier website looking for a "space heater" without the large heating element and a thermostat so it would shut itself off. This unit is awesome, white color is stylist and not an eyesore with décor, cool to the touch, and even has a remote. It also truly heats up a room and maintains the temperature, as described. Highly recommend. This is the second review I have ever written. I read them all the time, felt like it was time for me to start sharing as well.

I bought this to help my bedrtoom heat and it just doesn't work. It is a 10 x 10 room and basically little change in temp after working all night. It doesn't feel like it is blowing enough and barely getting hot. Very disappointed.

I have 2 of these, oldest one from 2019. Both have malfunctions. One would loose power, and intermittently respond to the power button. Took it apart and found the tip over switch had a blackened connector. I measured it with a multi meter to find it had failed open. There aren't any exact replacements available online, so I ordered a standard switch (16A 125VAC, KW3AT-16, Normally Closed). This replacement doesn't have the plunger actuator. The second unit doesn't control the fan speed or heater properly. It runs the fan at low speed, making a humming sound from the motor and the heater goes into shutdown (display on, no fan even on the fan setting). I haven't taken it apart yet.

This heater is inefficient. We have been using this for a drafty old SF apartment and it doesn't kick the temperature above 61 unless other heaters are used. Save your money.

I love this heater for my large living area. It keeps the room warm and toasty without kicking on the furnace or upping the thermostat for the rest of the house. My only gripe is that it's hit or miss with the remote. If you offer a 5 year warranty you would think the remote would work better.

I live in texas and it is now November 2022. My house is old and not well insulated. Let me tell you in Feb when we had that freeze where it snow and shut down San Antonio. Friends lost power and came here to my house and we sat in the living room and just set the temp and it kept the room 2 degreese higher then what it was set for. I love how it quick it notices that the door was opened cause it would change the fan speed to get the room back to where it was before the door was opened. I bought it in 2019 and it runs like the day i took it out of the box. Now i want to get the Vornado VMH600 but i have no need cause this one hasn't stopped doing its job.
