For the past week that I have had this unit, it has proven to be one of the quietest I have ever had. Granted it says it will heat a room (800+sq) it does not do that very well. It works great for something along the lines of 300sqft. Overall, I would buy another one for my bedroom.

I recently received this heater, and after testing it out, I have to say it's a nice little heater. It's compact, so it doesn't take up a lot of space, and its shape is good for storing it away in smaller places. I turned the heater up to 90 just to see how it would do, and it started pumping out heat immediately. My room was toasty in no time! It's got a solid base, so you can't tip it over easily. Furthermore, the outside remained cool the entire time it was in use. Compared with other heaters, this does a solid job, and it seems to heat my room up a little faster than the ones I've used in the past. I hadn't heard of this particular heater before I tried this one out, but I'm pleased with it, and I'd definitely be willing to purchase Vornado products in the future. My only concerns are that the remote seems to be a little weak, and the heater is a little noisier than I would like, but it's no big deal.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
