I have a very similar French door refrigerator from Samsung, I paid 4500 for it and it's now 3 years old. I was assured the ice maker problem had been resolved… DO NOT buy Samsung appliances… I called 1.5 years after getting it when the ice maker first started freezing up.. fast forward another year and I can't even get it to work. No appliance store around me will even work on it! What a joke this is and support will not send me the new part or fix it… don't buy Samsung people.

We bought our new fridge about a month ago and we absolutely love it! Only one complaint. There is no light for the water/ ice dispenser. There is a spot for it but it is not included in it fridge. I had a tech come out and this is what he told bee cause I thought it was broken.

The ice maker in this refrigerator is horrible. If you are a family that uses a lot of ice, save yourself frustration and disappointment and DO NOT BUY! I wish we hadn't. Unfortunately we needed a replacement right before Christmas and didn't have time to check reviews or research.
