It rebooted last week all on its own. Came up in developer mode, then rebooted again. For some reason this time, it seemed to reset my Chromebook back to factory settings. I lost all my files that I moved over from my old Chromebook.

The Chromebook works OK. Construction is a little brittle considering my expectations when buying a HP device. I was told by the customer service that this model was not available with a French Canadian keyboard (printed on keys), so I bought it anyway, being a bit disappointed. A friend of mine came home with the exact same computer but with a French Canadian keyboard three days after I got mine! Someone didn't make its job at the desk!!! I also find the display dull and a little fuzzy. It's OK for word processing, but quite too bad for photo edition or technical 3D drawing.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

I just bought this machine and i start loving it. Response time is excellent. For web browsing, surfing, watching you tubes videos no problem at all. I bought it from Canada Computers in $200, a very good deal. This machine is very light weight, easy to use, and so much more. I would strongly recommend it.
