Easy Setup, Easy Use

I received the bridge, along with my initial 5 lights, one week ago. Installing the lights were as easy as changing a light bulb. The bridge connections were only 2 cables, and the Hue App guided me through setup. Within a few minutes, I was changing color Scenes in my living room with voice command...

I bought the Philips Hue hub and many lightbulbs, they all work amazing with my iphone and apple home. LOVE THEM. However, trying to navigate this website sucks. Keeps redirecting me to the wrong support pages and then when I'm trying to view comments it keeps jumping... what the heck, I'm looking for more info and some technical details, let me do it!

I recently found the opportunitie to setup all of my hue lights and accessories after a moving from a apartment to a house .. I was so excited to finally be able bring life to my new home .. with bedroom,kitchen,living space, walkways as well as the front/ back yard and driveway all In its place . Confident with everything. I Install the BRIDGE last, router was relocated just for this reason.. everything now in permanent place Google assistant had problems contacting.. I even gave benefit of the doubt.. thinking my Google assistant, product or settings were to blame .. and then finding out it was HUE PRODUCT SUPPORT TERMINATION I was furious.

Awful. Without warning the bridge I have was "no longer compatible to the cloud" that is needed to work. That's not fair. When I bought the device, I wasn't warned this was possible. I had to pay for a new one. I WANT A REFUND

We have been using the Phillips Hue hub for several years and love how we can automate each light depending on their location. Schedule on/off times, dimness, colors, etc. We moved and lost our first one so we needed to order another. Can't live without it! It's so nice to control the lights using the App on our iPhones.

I love my lights and the ability to control them with the bridge but trying to find the login page on the web to disconnect attached services is like trying to find the golden goose

This system costs over $400 YET it cannot connect via wifi. This has to connect direct to box. If your tv is in another room this is not usable.

I see complaints that make no sense. It takes some brain power to use technology. I have both versions of Hue products (wifi only/bluetooth +) and if you read the directions if needed...all will be revealed. The hue hub is a router of sorts so of course it wont be wireless but you could add a device to it to do so but it would make it lag. Hue isnt perfect as is nothing including Apple. To each their own but Hue is fun to play with. Technology requires tinkering around. Always you can be better but Hue is cool and fun to play with. If your a windows user you can handle it.
