This percolator is very easy to operate. It is my first experience with perked coffee, having always used a French press or drip. The instructions were clear, and it works exactly as described. And for some reason, the coffee tastes better than any of my previous types.

Simple to work. Takes up little room. No temperature control. Must wait after pouring to avoid burning mouth. Do not like having to wait.

Makes a great cup of coffee. Easy to use. Also makes the house smell like a coffee shop :).Only issue is no auto shut off, remember to unplug it

I would like it better if you were able to see the water line on the outside of the coffee pot and if it stayed hot like when it was first finished brewing.

This percolator makes good coffee in a reasonable amount of time. The problem is with the lid - the knob breaks off over time and this product is discontinued and replacement lid is not available and has not been available for a long time.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Works like a traditional percolator, in that it heats quickly and makes good coffee, but it does not make HOT coffee like the traditional ones ( the reason I wanted another). It does retain the heat, just not as hot as traditional ones
