      After extensive research, I bought the Breville Mini about a month ago, glad I did! We have limited countertop space, so this is perfect as far as size. This toaster oven is easily the best on the market. We are surprised just how great it is when cooking, toasting, re-heating etc. It even pre-heats! Because of electronics always unplug after use so you don't get caught with a power surge when your electric comes back on. Also, leave the recommended clearance because it gets hot, after all - it is an oven. We got the cutting board to sit on top of the mini toaster oven. We highly recommend the Breville Mini Toaster Oven.

      I have used the model BOV450XL for nearly nine years without complaint. However, recently it has begun to turn itself on without any input from me. My concern is if it happens while I'm away or in the middle of the night, that failure mode could cause a house fire. For this reason I keep it unplugged. I have attempted to contact Breville through live chat and digital assistant without success. Disappointed!

      This is my second mini smart oven. I returned the first one assuming it was defective..the replacement was just as bad. Both appliances only toasted one side of the bread. Very uneven heat. Won't bother to replace it…..don't want another breville product…now I'm out good money that could have purchased a better product

      We had a Krups toaster oven for 30 years. When the spring broke and the door would no longer stay closed it was time to find a new toaster oven. The problem was the size. Almost no one makes small profile toaster ovens now. This toaster oven was just a small amount deeper than our Krups so worked very very well and actually is a lot more versatile.

      I recently bought this toaster/oven to replace a cheaper Black and Decker. But low and behold it did not toast bread any better exactly the same results. However, I did find that it had several features lacking in the Black and Decker - such a when the toast would be ready.

      I bought the Toaster oven a few months ago. It took forever to toast a piece of bread. I emailed the company. The paid to ship it back and sent me a new one. To me, that is standing behind your product. The new one works wonderfully. I can reheat, toast and bake, all on my counter top.

      I bought this toaster oven over a month ago. I use it primarily for making toast and food warming. It toasts more evenly than my previous toaster oven and doesn't burn the edges of the bread as often. At this point I am fully satisfied with the product.
