      Beautiful and functional

      I am in love with my new cooktop. It cooks so evenly and quickly. We don't have natural gas in our area but this electric cooktop is just as great as a gas. It cleans up beautifully with just a warm dishcloth and drying it with a microfiber towel. So easy and sleek.

An example: I was cooking chili on the dual front burner - set a little bit above "low" and the chili was boiling. I turned it to "low", and five minutes later it was still boiling.       I was skeptical to get a glass cooktop because many of the reviews (even the good ones) talked about was how difficult the glass is/was to clean. I use mine 4-5 days per week, wipe up after the top cools down, and give it a good cleaning with the recommended cleaning kit every week and have no problems, even after pasta water, potato water, and other various sauces have spilled in to the cook surface.

      Cooktop works and looks good, glass top scratches easy. Only have had a short time and try to be very careful using only flat bottom pots and pans and soft rags for cleaning but surface has already began scratching. Also, not sure why it was so hard to find a 30", 5 Burner with good size large burners and a configuration that you can actually use all the burners. This was one of few I was able to find. Cooktop came packaged nice and easy to intall. Happy with the cooktop, just wish there was a way to prevent the scratching.

      I owned this electric cooktop for not longer than a year and the glass is stained and scratched also the knobs are falling apart

      We had a 30" GE Profile cooktop but we wanted all our appliances to match. Kitchenaid was always our brand in both our homes. However, one disappointment was that when we put it in, the base was larger than the granite hole. Hence we had to have someone come and cut the granite which also affected the cabinets underneath. We had no way of knowing this at time of purchase. It ended up costing us more $.

      We bought this about a month ago and we're not very excited with it. The burners take forever to heat up and the simplest drop of food leaves marks on the glass.

      I am still learning on this cook top. heats quickly...has many cooking pan sizes..the warming burner is wonderful..no worries about burning a dish.! Heats to high in about 3 seconds.!!! Such easy cleaning..NO COILS..just wipe it clean... great time saver.!!!!

      Not happy with this product. Purchased in 2020 to replace my 10 year old General Electric (that was still working when I replaced). Thought I was receiving an upgrade; but unfortunately not. Due to Covid; this wasn't received and installed until 2021. Once installed; I noticed that one of the coils was not at all centered with the marked lines on the glasstop. However, it wasn't really noticable unless the coil was illumiated. It's now 2023 (just two years later) & the appliance doesn't come on at all. I was in the middle of cooking when all coils illumiated and popped (electrical is fine). Now Ktichenaid support is telling me that there are no local repair people for my appliance. On the search for repairman that I have to pay for myself. I was going to order the back-ordered wall oven and refrigerator I wanted with Kitchenaid as well; but that's probably not going to happen now. Should have sticked with GE. Cheaper and less disappontment. No quality in Kitchenaid.
