      DO NOT BUY!! Customer service was no help at all. The line buzzed so loudly I could barely hear, then I was told I need to keep the unit at 68, even though it goes down to 60.       Unit failed after 6 months. LG service tech came and found that the unit had to be replaced. Waiting for a refund. Bought a different brand to replace and it works great.

      I purchased this in April didn't fully use til May by June it wasn't cooling so went through a few troubleshooting phases to no avail the air conditioner was blowing 79 degrees on a 60. They wanted to "fix" it by replacing parts therefore I would've paid full price for a refurbished machine. Give me my money back please!

      I purchased this unit for a 230 sq ft room as it's rated for 300 sq ft. The unit is unable to cool the room below 72 degrees regardless of how long we let it run. I have reached out to LG twice for a technician to come look at the unit. They have yet to reach out to schedule.

      I would highly recommend this unit for small Apts, this a/c will cool my 480sq foot apt on low energy saving setting. 1 month into 1 of the warmest summers ever in MN. It has totally exceeded my expectations.

      I don't understand why exterior of a/c unit has no protective cover and coils and whole a/c is exposed to rain and lightning. Every unit my neighbors have and my previous A/C always had a cover

      I don't understand why my in the wall A/C unit has exposed coils and the back of unit exposed to the outside has no protection from rain, lightening.

      I bought this on recommendation from a friend. I was surprised how quieter it was then the Friedrich I had (believe it). I would have given it 5 stars but the front grill does rattle making noise. I had to keep one side of grill detached and that stopped the rattle along with some sound deadening tape.I do wish it had another lower fan speed speed which would have made the unit noise level even lower,like 44 db or so.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

      6 month old through the wall ac has failed. LG customer service is a joke. Going on 2 weeks with no response. What's more disappointing is I bought 11 other i units at the same time as this one. Will not be purchasing LG appliances for any of our other buildings
