I bought this quite a while ago and I have a lot of people coming and going and the door gets locked and unlocked manually, automatically, via the app and remotely (when I'm away from home and realize I forgot to lock it.) You can still use your key and for renters it doesn't change the lock so you'...

I use this on a door to my garage. I didn't want the complexity of keep Hadlock when all I really needed was a Wi-Fi lock that I could lock and unlock remotely. Only shortcoming is the software does not permit you to set a schedule for the lock. Hence, the four star review.

I finally bought my August lock after years of my friends trying to convince me. It has been one of the best purchase I've made. My daughter is constantly forgetting her house key so now she can always let herself in AND I have peace of mind in being able to make sure the doors are locked. Since purchasing the lock a couple months ago, my son was diagnosed with cancer which resulted in a very long hospital stay and a few other shorter stays at short notice. Honestly this lock has been such a huge blessing because I can let friends in and out as needed to bring us things from home, and check on plants and animals while we are gone on short notice.

I had this lock over 2 months and it's working perfectly fine , I had to calibrate the lock again after 2 months which is not complicated, besides that all good

I've been a loyal customer since day one and the original locks and the second generation locks worked beautifully but the new Wi-Fi August locks or garbage I've had three of them that don't work properly and or difficult to connect! I wish I never bought them!
