We bought the washer with side kick a little over a year ago. We love the sidekick for small loads and diapers but shortly after getting out of warranty the plastic handle to open the sidekick broke and we have not been able to use it since.

We love the LG pedestal washing machine! It's perfect for washing red colored clothing especially new items alone as to not discolor lighter clothing!! It's also wonderful for the few white items you want to use bleach with and great for those delicate items like bras and sweaters.

Do you like mold? Then buy a SideKick. From the first day we used our Sidekick, there was a terrible moldy smell pervading. No amount of cleaning would fix it. Every time we open it, it's damp inside, even if it had not been used and had been thoroughly dried. Customer Service was horrible. I was on a phone call for 1.5 hours, and earlier on a chat for an hour. No resolution except to keep cleaning it. Over and over. And over.

I have contacted customer support on three occasions seeking a copy of a manual for a sidekick washing machine. Each time I have been assured that it would be taken care of. This began on or about April 15, 2024. I have still not received it.

We have not yet experienced the use of the appliance. We requested the operator and instruction manual on April 15th, May 21st and June 7th 2024 through LG customer service and have not received it yet.
