Since grinder is INSIDE of water area it's stays wet- not just damp but dripping. So can't really use it like I purchased. Carafe leaks 80% of time when pouring coffee

Another great product from Cuisinart, which I've been a fan of for years and had/have many of their products. I love how fast it produces a great cup of coffee with one complaint - the cup holder that catches the grinds is poorly built and within only a few usages two little springs broke off after hand washing. Fortunately, this didn't make the coffee machine unusable but it if were just a little more solidly built this would be a 5 star brewer!!

Grinder is very loud. Grinder cup does not accommodate enough beans for 12 cup brewing. 1-4 cup option is nice and coffee is hot.

Love it!! I'm not sure why people say it's noisy. It's very quiet. I had a Mr coffee and that thing is extremely loud so this coffee maker is a dream. I love the programming system and being able to wake up in the morning with fresh brewed coffee.
