I have a smart Android TV so the Roku app is not built in. I needed Roku for an app Wondrium since it doesn't have another way to satisfactorily operate on TV. Since my TV is right next to my router, I didn't need a wired connection to get uninterrupted streaming. I also found out that Roku has other educational stuff that is not available elsewhere. It certainly worth the under $30 it cost me to get it delivered from Electronics Express..

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

I'm so glad that the staff at electric express let me know about the difference between the basic Roku stick and the premium stick the quality is even better than I can imagine
