      Product Description

      The GMRS/FRS Two-way Radios have a range of up to 25 miles. Be prepared for storms and emergencies with Built-in NOAA radio receiver. VOX (voice activated transmission) detects the user's voice and transmits without the need of pressing any buttons therefore keeping your hands free. There are a total of 2662 channel combinations when the 22 channels are combined with the 121 privacy codes (38 CTCSS/83 DCS). These combinations prevent interference from other radios. These Two-way Radios are weather resistant to lock out moisture, feature a belt clip and come with (3) rechargeable NiMH AA batteries. Micro-USB Charging Cable with "Y" plug also is included.

      AA cells do not fit, grow dangerously hot

      Quality sound very easy to use. I had my kids using these with me very easy for them to use also nice design I would reccomend these so many uses for these from hunting,hiking,keeping in touch with the kids around the neighborhood and while driving for vacation with multiple cars

      This is a Great two way radios easy to us, quick and easy weather check. Battery last a long time and it is easy to charge. The Range in the city is not very far but works great in the woods and open areas.

      We use these all the time, daughter goes out to play, she takes one with her, she can always call for help or snacks or whatever (yes, she is spoiled a bit. lol) and we can call her home. Use them at the store or mall to stay tethered even as you split up and wander. Reception is strong and clear at just under a mile, which is the furthest we have tested them. That was from inside a school to inside our house, so walls and such. Comes with rechargable batteries which charge right in the handset, which is a plus over some other comparable brands. Charge lasts a while, not sure of how many hours total, but it is quite a few hours of on time. Charge up overnight for sure, haven't really checked to see how fast it may happen to be honest. Get a set.

      My wife and I used these one day when she was running errands and we were trying to figure out what to get my Daughter for Christmas. These radios have great clarity and it was nice to not be on the phone the entire time.I recommend these radios to anyone.

      In the outdoor, backpacking, camping world and certain career fields I personally believe these CRAFTSMAN - GMRS/FRS TWO-WAY RADIOS belong. Where cell service was non-existent... I found that I could still communicate with this Midland radio (within certain distances). Communication is life...and a huge part of being able to survive at times. I couldn't find anything negative about this set. You learn to work within the parameters dealt. They are an effective, feature-rich hand transmitter set! I would wholeheartedly recommend this product!

      I got this for my kids(9 yrs old) to go around the neighborhood and home (1mile). The instructions are easy to follow batteries rechargeable. Only issue: pinch and push up the tab to slide the belt clip off to install batteries.

      This product is great to use. We took it on a ski trip with friends, and used it along the way to communicate between vehicles, and on the mountain. During the drive, the only complaint I have is the distance that the radios reached to. It is worth noting that there was bad weather and we were driving through a mountain range that the signal was hard to hear. During other communication, the radios worked well, as did the weather radio function. I would highly recommend these radios to anyone looking to purchase something with good quality.

      I have had other two way radios and these out perform the others. Clear. Great range. They were dropped and hold up. Easy to use. I like the recharging capabilities. Still haven't used all the features yet, but look forward to it.

      We've all had a set of two way radios! These have great range and battery life. Comes in very clear and its great for traveling with out cars on trips. Small and sleek design that doesn't take up a lot of room for almost any occasion.

Also like the way I can ring him (sounds like a phone) instead of trying to just speak. In my book I wish I could give it more than 10 stars, it is very light weight & compact (unless he calls me I forget i am carrying it). Cant wait to try on the open water as we usually take our 2 boats & not always we have cell phone signal. Screen is easy to read & the buttons are well put as without looking you know what you are pressing. Love it love it love it!.
