Powered by the exclusive AMD Ryzen 7 4980U 8-Core processor and 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, the Surface Laptop 4 can efficiently multitask and quickly access frequently used files and programs. For storing your photos, videos, and files, it's equipped with a 512GB SSD, which provides you with fast boot and load times. Its 15" PixelSense display, driven by integrated AMD Radeon Graphics, features a 2496 x 1664 resolution and ultra-slim bezels for your viewing comfort. It also supports multi-touch so you can utilize touch gestures and commands within Windows 10 Home to enhance its accessibility and efficiency.

Staying connected to the internet is more important than ever now. The Surface Laptop 4 utilizes Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) to provide fast wireless connectivity, allowing you to check emails and stay in contact with coworkers, friends, and family while you're on the go. Connect peripherals and accessories via the USB Type-C port. You'll also still have the USB Type-A port for legacy compatible devices. Should you need more storage space or functionality, you can add an optional docking station to its Surface Connect connector for more ports. Other integrated features include an HD webcam with Windows Hello sign-in, integrated Studio Mics, Omnisonic speakers with Dolby Atmos, and a 3.5mm mic and headphone combo jack. Windows 10 Home is the installed operating system.

    The 15" PixelSense touchscreen features a 2496 x 1664 resolution and a 3:2 aspect ratio. The 15" display can also utilize split-screen viewing so you can see two apps side by side with Windows Snap.

    The Surface Laptop 4 is versatile, providing the performance you need to do what you want, from using creative apps to playing games. The built-in HD webcam, combined with Studio Mics, allows you to participate in video calls with ease. Stream shows and movies with Dolby Atmos support.
    Comfort and Convenience
    Work on projects and presentations with ease, thanks to the keyboard and large touchpad. With Windows Hello face sign-in and Instant On, you'll be able to pick up where you left off quickly and securely. The battery provides up to 17.5 hours on a single charge (may vary with usage). Connect accessories and peripherals in a variety of ways, including USB Type-C, USB Type-A, Surface Connect, 3.5mm headphone jack, and even wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.0.

    Start Menu
    After its hiatus in Windows 8, the Start Menu has returned. Utilizing a combination of the traditional menu system and Windows 8's Live Tiles, the improved Start Menu gives you more information at a glance, showing notification information alongside your applications and other pinned items.

Edge also has built-in Cortana integration; you can have her help you find a restaurant, make a reservation, and pull up directions without leaving your browser.

    For Windows 10, Microsoft has unified the Windows Store. Now, apps for PCs, tablets, and phones will all be accessible from one place. And with support for Universal Apps, one version of an app can work across all your compatible devices automatically.
    Windows Continuum
    Windows 10 was designed for a variety of screen sizes and input styles, and with its Continuum feature, it automatically adapts to fit your needs. A Windows 10 tablet on its own requires a touch-centric approach, but attaching a mouse and keyboard will shift everything to a more traditional interface.
