      I purchased this to replace a older unit I am pleased with the updated features. when I tried to update the firmware my NVR locked up and was stuck in a loop I contacted the support chat and were very helpful and stay with me until it was working correctly.

      Camera easy to connect to dvr BUT you do not have Pan or Tilt option. Tech. service has no idea all they want is for you to send screen shot. Be nice if they would just tell you that it will not have some option before you spend the time and money.

      I have had my Lorex system for about two and a half years now, and I had to replace four cameras due to the mounts and arms breaking. The DVR is great, but cameras are expensive. I do install camera systems for my customers, and now I can no longer recommend Lorex systems. The Night Owl system is a great system, the only thing I do not like is most of the programing and set up is done through the app.

      Purchased in November 2022 and have had nothing but connectivity and poor performance for 13 months. Cameras rarely stay connected even 1 room away let alone the other side of the house. The app is super unreliable and often unusuable.

      Had to replace my original NVR because it crashed at a little over a year and a half old, just outside warranty. I like the system but really hope this unit lasts longer

      I owned one of this for five years now, the system works really well and setting up was very easy. My wife has the app on her phone which served useful. The DVR is starting to go bad, I swapped the hard drive and tried a new camera, still does not work. I will order a new DVR.
