      The recording quality is not accurate in the sensitive mode it records with nothing moving and on both medium and sensitive mode it does not always pick an object when moving 30 to 50 feet from the cameras, like a passing car or person.

      I have older reliable night owl cameras that work adequately (recording and playback on SD cards is spotty) so I bought a doorbell camera and additional lighted security cameras. Like others I have had terrible experience with the new equipment. The doorbell drops on and off constantly as though it lost power! My voltage meter shows no power fluctuations from my transformer and an adequate power supply. If I power it via micro USB the device stays online and functional EXCEPT it neither records video nor notes "events". Absolutely useless device! I have contacted night owl but nothing fixes the problem. Its headed to the rubbish bin!

      I bought this because Night Owl stated that five wifi cameras can be added to your Night Owl DVR Recorder. That is impossible to do. When you follow the steps to add the cameras to the recorder, using the required app, you are given no option to add wifi cameras to your recorder but instead your wifi camera becomes a separate entity that you can't record on your recorder but instead require memory cards when I was trying to avoid using those.

      I would like to return this system. I am disappointed that it will not let me make the adjustments that it said I can. Even thought it took my security password. This is the 4th or 3rdrd system I have had and would like to go back to a hard wired system. I have always like my night owl system in the past, but this one I am disappointed in. I have just received it a week ago and would like to return it for a hard wired one.
