This cooktop replaced a previous GE cooktop. Most of the time the cooktop functions as anticipated. Occasionally the large front burner gets a lot hotter even when I have not adjusted the temperature and this is not the normal on and off of the burners. This happened with my previous burner but only when it got closer to the 9-10 year mark. I only replaced the last cooktop because a pot slipped from my hands and cracked the previous cooktop. As initially stated. The majority of the times the cooktop functions as designed. I'm hoping the overheating doesn't get worse.

Love this cooktop. The melt function is perfect and doesn't overheat the butter or chocolate! Both power boil burners heat quickly. Definitely recommend it!

I love my cook top, once I determined how to use it. It cooks very well, and is pretty easy to use. As with all glass top appliances, it needs to be clean as soon as it cools to keep it glossy look.

The cooktop works great but the plug underneath n this model is more forward than the last of the same model I had so now the drawer underneath the cooktop won't close.

I'm a cooker and love to do multiple things for me and my three kids. I can't cook rice, beans and chicken all at the same time because of the lack of slace. It's awful because of it.. I have 3 for the look,heat, and how easy it is to clean.
