      I purchased this LG Refrigerator 3 years ago. Everything started thawing in freezer. I have been told that the compressor is out. Now without a Refrigerator for over a week. Trying to get someone out to repair this is a nightmare.

      When I first got the refrigerator I had to keep adjusting the temperature because it would freeze my vegetables. I threw away many packages of salad greens, arugula, cucumbers, tomatoes, etc. because they froze & turned to mush. After finally reaching the temperature of 44 degrees, the vegetables were no longer freezing in the refrigerator. The refrigerator did well after that, until the compressor died in October. The refrigerator is only 7 years old and I expect the compressor to last much longer than 7 years. Of course it happened when we were out of town & we returned to a putrid, smelly mess in the refrigerator and freezer. So, I am not especially happy with this refrigerator.

      I have purchased two LG Refrigerators. The first one broke down approximately 30 days after the extended warranty had expired. I purchased the second one and the compressor went out at seven years. I was able to have it fixed under the extended warranty I purchased. I do like the two LG Refrigerators I have purchased, but I will probably purchase a different brand when my current one breaks again.

      We bought this fridge Nov 2017, to replace the one that came with the house, It wasn't very good. So this coming Nov will be 6 years. The only problem we have had is that the compressor went out in Aug this year. Possibly our fault. I haven't cleaned the area behind the fridge not even once is 6 years, So it was pretty dusty back there and limited the air flow back there. We did not buy the extend warranty for the fridge. but LG provides an extend warranty on the compressor and they replaced it I only had to pay for the labor. The compressor was no charge. So all in all very happy with the LG product.

      The fridge kept getting bad . Customer support didn't even answer for more than 2 hours . We threw it away . Would never recommend

      I love the huge space on one door...I currently have 2 gallons of milk, 2 quarts of OJ, 1 quart of apple juice, a bottle of wine, and creamer on that door! The frig drawer that is the full width (for platters) is not something that I use very often, but it is SO GREAT to have it when I entertain.

      We bought this fridge 5 years ago. Last year it completely went out. We waited a month for parts while living out of coolers. Barely a year later, it went out again. Compressor was replaced again and it lasted less than 24 hours. We are now waiting for another repair.
