      The builder gave us as an upgrade option. The hood is around 2.5 feet above the cooktop. The reason I am giving a 3 is the fan is not powerful enough when it is this far to take out the smell from cooking.

      I got it with the house. a brand new house ,now my adjoining cabinets getting spoiled because the oil spots are all over the white cabinets. every time i cook i need to clean the cabinets.The oil is stuck on to the fan filter , the fan is not pulling it off.
