This product is well worth the investment

I have 2 of the Amish mantle heaters. They are big, expensive and hard to move around. They heat OK but they are so bulky. We recently bought a Vornado VH2. We have the vaulted ceilings in our home and also have passive solar. When the sun is out during the winter the home is toasty until about 8PM....

I bought three VH-2 heaters for my employees and later two more. The heaters get extensive use during upstate NY winters. After two years we returned two of the heaters for repairs (under warranty). Another was out of warranty, and we judged it not worth the cost to send it back for factory repair. ...

Vornado is American made, works great, and is well built. As long as they keep manufacturing this great product in America, I will keep extolling it. The heater is much higher quality than foreign competitors. It is more powerful. The last foreign unit we purchased failed the first week! It works so well, we do not need to keep it under our desk. It broadcasts heat so well, it heats the entire room! Keep making them in America, Vornado! And yes, we are telling many, many people about our American made heater!

I bought our Vornado VH2 heater 6 years ago! It ran almost everyday for those 6 years either hearing or cooling our sons room. We live in a house built in 1920 and while lovely, it isn't as weather proof as newer homes so our house gets pretty cold during winter. Even during the massive ice storm/cold spell in Texas 2021, it kept our one room we secluded toasty warm. It just died a few days ago and I have already ordered another. THANK YOU For making such an amazing product!

We bought one 6 weeks ago or so. It wore after a couple weeks. They did honor the warranty and sent us another bad news one. Now this arcing one has quit working in less time than the first one. Would NOT recommend AT ALL.

I was thrilling to find this heater, same as what I've had before. Delighted that it is made in USA! But it doesn't heat up quickly. Only draw back, but I walked out of the room that it was in, and when I returned, it was making a rumbling noise. Not very loud, but it concerned me.

This is the 2nd one of these we have purchased. We have had one for a number of years and it is used as supplemental heating in a home office. It has had to be replaced, under warranty, twice, but the company is very easy to work with and stands behind their equipment. The first one just quit working after a couple years and the 2nd replacement had the on/off switch go bad. Both times they were replaced without question. I like these units because they do a good job and they are much quieter than others we have tried. The one just purchased is used in our TV room so being quiet is a big plus. I would recommend this unit without reservation.

This is my second vornado heater. This last one lasted 5 months. I noticed the fan running slow for about 2 weeks and this morning if finally stopped and there was smoke and fumes in the air.

Many heaters have the auto mode, like this VH2 heater, but this one can be set to switch to fan mode after reaching the desired temperature. This constant white noise helps keep me sleeping through the night.
