After just 2 days the 55uj6200 has already shown that it is far superior to my old 55" Panasonic plasma. The difference in the number of colors is and the increase in pixel density show up at any distance from this LG. The menus can be a bit of a learning curve if you aren't technology inclined b...

I'll give it 4 stars because for years this tv has been reliable . I got it in 2018 and today Jan.6 2024 i come home after getting off early from work thinking imma just hop in the game. But the screen is black , no picture just sound . In its defense i did see 4 bulb like shapes glaring from the other side of the screen so i guess you can say i seen it coming . I Will say my Sharp Tv which i got in 2017 when 4k just became affordable, is going well and strong . Thank you LG , 7 years is more than long enough life span for a Smart Tv.

We have had this tb since 2018, and it's always had wifi issues. But as of the past year it constantly drops the wifi, and says wifi is not available or wifi is turned off. We have never had an issue with our wifi boxes, but since Rodgers bought out shaw our TV has decided to throw wobbles and not connect to the wifi, I doubt this is a Rodgers issue but an LG issue.

I have enjoyed this TV but there have been some frustrations. First, the picture is great and I like the access to the streaming services though I wish I could add new services. I have regularly had issues with the sound when using a receiver. For the longest time I thought it was the receiver and finally spent good money on a higher end receiver. Turned out it wasn't the receiver, it was the TV. I have since replaced the receiver with a Sonos sound bar and occasionally still have the same problem. The Wi-Fi takes a long time to connect and then it will drop occasionally and you have to reboot the service; if you can use a wired ethernet. Finally, It has suddenly lost a vertical row of pixels so i have a line going through the middle of the screen from top to bottom. While not such a problem I can't watch shows, it is a little annoying and I would have hoped to get a few more years out of this TV. So, based on my overall experience I can't say I wouldn't buy an LG again but also can't say they have won me over to be brand loyal.

It is interesting because another customer has described the same problem I came up here to see if I could find some solution for. I've had this TV about 5-6 years and today while watching the screen went blank. Still heard sound though. After turning it off I have been unable to turn it on again - even for any sound. I certainly expected this TV to last longer and if it turns out that I need to purchase another to replace this one - LG will be at the bottom of my list. Too bad. Except for the marginal WiFi we've been quite content with this TV until now.

Same issue as every other 1 star review, bought the tv around 4 years ago, worked fine, then suddenly this morning, completely dead. I get a brief flash when I turn it on, the screen stays dark, any button press turns it back off. I've been a customer for a long time, but this is hugely disapointing, failing suddenly and completely after such a short time suggests a very poor build quality, especially given how many other reviews have the exact same problem.

We've had it a few years and it's always disconnecting from the wifi and won't reconnect I have to keep trying over and over again it's so frustrating. We bought this tv with our little savings and don't have money for another TV sometimes we have to just shut it off cause it won't connect and we use it for Netflix so if it won't connect then it's pointless some times. Sad it was so expensive and looked nice at first
