We bought these appliances about 6 months ago and we are not very pleased with the range. It turns on too easy and will cause a fire if anything left on a burner.

Protect the vents grills

A plastic lid fell in the exhaust fan vent grill, and there is not a practical way to pull it out

Waste of money

This was the biggest waste of money. Within the first year the temperature probe broke. We used the warranty to have a technician come out to fix it. It worked for only a couple of weeks after the fix. Then we noticed that a the outer element ring on one of the large burners appears to have burnt out. Now when the door locks it gets stuck closed and throws an error. I hate this thing so much.

Inferior or cheap plastic trim that has cracked and or simply crumbled off in less than 6 months of use and Samsung customer service says "not our problem - we do t warranty that" I want to reiterate that nothing happened to this range nothing was dropped on or fell against etc it is simply cheap plastic

Cheap - stove top cracked in 3 months

Bought this in October, and by January the entire glass cooktop had cracked. Husband was wiping the top down with a soft cloth after use, and it just cracked. Absolute piece of junk. To make matters even worse, Samsung says it isn't covered under their warranty. So I have a completely damaged stove that they won't cover the poor craftsmanship on, and if I want it fixed I'm going to be out of pocket. For as much as this stove costs, I would 100% not recommend you spend it on a Samsung. Save yourself the headache and get a better quality stove elsewhere.

I bought this a year ago. The front knobs are terrible. If I lean on them while doing anything, it turns the ring on. I have melted 3 things that were left on the stove and had one fire from a paper tray because I didn't notice I had turned the ring on. The rest of the features are good but I'm thinking of replacing it for a range that is safer. I called Samsung about it and was told that it had passed some safety check and there was nothing they would do about it. I would not recommend this to anyone
